If you're thinking about visiting Cedar Hill Baptist for the first time, you're at the right place on this website!  We hope that we can make the transitioning process of visiting a new church as smooth as possible.

What To Expect

Friendly People:  We hope that your first reaction when you walk through our doors is recognizing our passion to want to meet and care for you.  Our church is filled with individuals with changed lives who want to share their joy with anybody that will listen.  So please, if at any point in your visit we can serve you in a better capacity don't hesitate please don't hesitate to ask! 

A Diverse Church:  Even though Cedar Hill lies in a very small community, we take joy in the fact that we have an abundant amount of members that span all age-groups! So if you're looking to fellowship and worship with peers, we can definitely find a spot for you.  

A Relaxed Atmosphere:  You will quickly notice that some people dress up for church here and some people don’t.  Feel free to wear what is comfortable to you, and you will fit right in.

Passionate Worship:  Our Sunday worship services always have the same central them of glorifying Christ , but can look a little different depending on which week you come. Some Sundays will find us singing traditional hymns, some Sundays Christian Contemporary music, and some Sundays a melting pot of the two.  But we also hope you notice our members at Cedar Hill strive to worship God in all facets of life and church operations-- not just in the music service!

Sunday Morning Service

Sunday School:  Our Sunday morning service kicks off each Sunday at 8:45am and last about an hour.  This is a time for members and non-members of the church to be able to get together with peers to fellowship and grow in discipleship. It's no matter if you're coming by yourself or you have a large family, we have a perfect fit for every single person!  A typical Sunday school class will be going through a Bible Study and will allow a means for peers to care for each other through prayer and support.  To find the Sunday School offering that best fits your age group please visit our dedicated page by clicking here.  

Sunday Service:  Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:00am and usually last until about 11:15am.  For those new to the church, one of the biggest issues you might encounter is finding the right location of the service! Because our church has been experiencing a huge amount of growth in the past couple of years, we could no longer fit in our traditional church sanctuary.  Services have been moved over to our Family Life Center -- the addition on the far right of our building that resembles a gymnasium.    With our new Family Life Center we now we have plenty of room for you and your family!  

Our Sunday morning service can change a little bit from week to week, but the general structure is about 45 minutes for announcements and worship with a half hour message from our Senior Pastor, Dr. Eric Taylor.  Through our morning service, our goal is to glorify God through passionate worship and through practical application of our Pastor's message. If you have children, we also have a children's church available to them at the conclusion of the church wide worship service.
